A serious reflection on what is happening in our Theatre

Young Artists

This new page is open to provide information about talented young hopefuls, and has no presumption of being a promotional organization.

We wish to point out; to help and encourage those who have the passion in the field for the Theatre, Film and Television in order to satisfy personal fulfillment and design, also useful for an innovative breakthrough.

We would like to report, make them know, and help young talents both for the theater and the cinema or television.

The good directors and film makers who are people with sensitivity and intuition, understand that our calls are genuine, dictated by the need to support the efforts of young theater’s lover and dreamers.

We would like to report and help young talents both for the theater and for the cinema or television, proposals and suggestions and if you wish, we can add email or web address to have directly contacts with the various artists or through their agents.

We have unfortunately noted that even the "Theatre" (like other artistic fields), is going through a period of decline and crisis, most likely due to wrong laws or policy choices.

As a result there will be few opportunities that are offered to "young people", in Italy, that not only discouraged but most likely not finding appreciation of creative energies (disperse and waste), which if properly channeled could be an asset.

The category that we consider is between 10 and 18 years or younger.

What we have noticed is that the theater "degradation" unfortunately (going through a critical period and decay) probably as already mentioned before, due to wrong policies or laws, and also add to the government's cut for companies so that young people aspire to work in the theater are very rare because of economic difficulties

At this time the Italian Political party “ Forza Italia” is the only one very interested in taking a real heavy interest in the problem of the theater and young people. Hopefully this will become and will develop into something concrete (the theater needs to breathe new air) this is imposed for various reasons.

First, the Italian state penalizes young people, who are not given credibility. Furthermore there is a considerable difference in treatment in comparison to those of other countries.
With the excuse that young people do not know what they do, the young Italians are treated as the last-class of young people in comparison to those of other more responsible countries.

The second: the school does not offer opportunities, incentives and is not able to encourage, not allowing young people to explore different routes.
Unfortunately it remains tied to fixed schedules, which do not open to the future, excluding new horizons and thereby preventing the development of a fresh potential.

It is not possible for young people to find a school open and relevant to their needs, for further reference values and a common project to identify with. So not only new incentives but how to develop a potential often repressed, this would keep them away from any skidding and society and at the same time, it could benefit from new and fresh energies.

The third: Often the parents, instead of supporting their children by giving them respect and understanding by supporting their desire to devote their lives to a cause (passion), which takes time and commitment, trying (wanting) a shorter route but accelerated and focused to an easy and immediate gain, (at least for themselves !!) immediately and easy money. To achieve this, they rely on the "advertising" or to television programs, which are not always serious and reliable.

The fourth: The youth (teenagers), instead of finding valid (proper) training facilities, able to welcome them and encourage their interests, collide with an opportunistic sometimes cruel reality, with organizations that promise and then not keep, deceiving, then scupper their dreams, but most of all and even worse, taking away their confidence in the world.

Including: The dishonesty of some organizations found in some proposals, for example, participation in a "photo album" or "Book" of course ... not free, but costly. There are also agencies that promise participation in films, which will prove to be non-existent.

Not to mention the expensive fees that must be paid in some acting schools (specialized) for a teaching, this is not always ethically correct.

So rare are the institutions or valid courses and really prepared and professional people.
The "truth" is that they want, or rather the system wants, lowering and destroying the "culture" and as he wrote Dario Fo (recently deceased): "It is no coincidence, is not an oversight, is a project” stressed the prize Nobel "to lower and destroy the culture, to make sure that schools no longer have a value and above a formative influence in young people, it is no accident, so much so that they continue to buy planes that cost billions and there is not money for culture. Or rather the commitment of a group of admirers willing to sacrifice their excess to make theater companies resume their role as guide and pass on their experience to the younger generation.

It is important to remember that in the UK the musical "Billy Elliot" in London, has reached its 16th year exhibiting this show twice a day using many young people.

Not to mention the past musical "Mary Poppins", "Oliver Twist", "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and "The Sound of Music" musical with all kids under 16 years old.

Sir Albert, director and owner of a school for actors, a long time ago, he told me that his school accepted at least four poor young people to teach them the art, and not made them pay for. As explained in the page "Genova" this musical group "I Giovani Canterini di Sant’Olcese" given the particular style of music, it is very difficult to find young people willing to sacrifice themselves and to involve their families.
Yet through the years " I Giovani Canterini di Sant’ Olcese" have been very fortunate in finding willing young talented “canterini”.
One is really very young, we are in 2012 and is "Nicola Molinari" a 10 years old nice boy, who sang as a tenor, supported and coddled, from " I Giovani Canterini di Sant’Olcese" where his brother "Gianmarco" of 16 years old also him performed as tenor.

Did you had a dreams? Because what I am about to tell you is a dream that came true. A 13 year old boy named "Leonardo" wanted to be part of a "Trallalero" group.

Leonardo had already, several times seen many concerts "Trallalero" his dream was, being part of one group as “canterino" but he never participated.

One evening during a performance of " I Giovani Canterini di Sant’Olcese", Leonardo took courage and asked to the maestro "Paul Besagno" if will be possible for him to sing a "trallalero" with them, the Master gave his consent and it was a success.

Many other groups invited this young exceptional “canterino” to sing with them and often became their special guest star.

In 2014 the conductor Maestro "Paul Besagno" presented to the public the young tenor "Leonardo Marti" officially inviting him to join the group of "I Giovani Canterini di Sant’Olcese" and offering him the pennant team.

2014 Now finally Leonardo at ease being part of one of the most important groups in Liguria, shows off the characteristic T-shirt with the logo and performs beautifully the song "I Bei Concerti". [In his repertoire there is this beautiful song, really romantic if listened on a moonlit]. It is very "dense poetry".

If you like to see Leonardo Marti singing, make a search on “you tube”, and as you can see from the pictures, you will feel the impression, and see his expression and hear the tone of his voice, like if he is the painter, and you will noted his name is Leonardo.

Leonardo has the ability and quality to socialize and easily join all masters of other groups. It is no longer the shy thirteen of the past (we are in December 2014, as you can see from this series of photos that are part of a video) but it is a smiling and confident guy himself.

In the following picture from a video: we can see Leonardo with two masters of another groups and him externalize with their expressions the love and deep feeling, they feel towards this genre of “trallalero”.

Leonardo his now fifteen years old and thanks to the efforts of his vocal qualities and the support of the whole group, I can say that it has become a real "Star", the role of the rest more than deserved, much to collect the interest of young girls who wish to have his autograph ... only?

One of the youngest actor, at the time of the picture (2018) now 11 years old, very athletic, naturally supporter for "Sampdoria", and a strong attitude in acting, very expressive and sweetish face, very professional, has been noted in some small part of comedies. But eager to work in more acting job.

Alessio Chiodini

Here we enter into the category of known actor. But even him have started acting young.
Alessio was born in 1989 in Rome and when he asked the milk bottle requested it with such acting talent, so much, that his passion for the theater was born and raised with him and the bottle.

Talent noticed mainly by her grandparents who understood, that he would become an actor. He started to attend the school of Angelica Balanoff, testing and final decision of his love for acting was born, when the teacher of letters decide to do a show "Christmas in Capuello house" by Eduardo De Filippo, and from that moment the theater has stolen his heart.

I do not think any person does not know Alessio because it is well known for his skill, for his exceptional expressions, for his acting with perfection in movements and method. Also his known for his generosity in charity.
It's very good in all roles, both for the "Theatre, Film and Television", has always worked for large and small theaters, for fiction or films, and also for the "best film makers".

Those are the qualities that everybody appreciates on an actor; let us hope that nobody never will forget him.

But surprise !!!!! Alessio despite he still a teenager is also a talented director.

A well-deserved satisfaction for his hard work.

While in 2010 is known in the theater for "Abort and resorts" and "Dreams of a Midsummer Night".

Still in 2010 "Rai 1" " La Ladra " in the part of her son, with the great diva Veronica Pivetti, always followed by an unforgettable part in Don Matteo 8 and here, once again demonstrates his talent in acting. And again in "Pazzi D’amore", followed with an important event in "Macbeth". Known its artistic quality, the famous director “Nero Parenti” wants him on the set of "Christmas Holidays in Cortina" in the part of "Luca Ferreri" and next to another pair of talented actors "De Sica and Ferilli". And then more and more requested.

Gaslini " La Banda degli Orsi "

Normally we are opposed to voluntary organizations, because for every two volunteers three remains jobless.
In this case we are more than agree that there is this kind of voluntary work, which is for sick children at the Gaslini hospital in Genoa.
There is no greater satisfaction in this world, that to receive from sick child their smile, "Priceless !!!!"

And who knows how many smiles from sick children have received these volunteers.

The biggest salary in existence.

And like in fairy tales or stories "Once upon a time ...." As you sow a seed, and it develop into a flower, with the help of the wind the volunteer scatters the seeds, so in 2011 was born "La Tana Dell'Orso" a day care center and again in 2012 more seed blossoms into "Il Rifugio Dell'Orso" which offers another help further for the need of relatives for those hospitalized children.
There are not enough words to thank the "la Band Dell’Orso" if nothing more than makes a passing word with the invitation to donate to this association.
